Please help me find this movie that I'm looking for a long time. I will add as much information as I remember.
This was a black and white Word War II movie, probably British.
At the beginning they show a high ranking naval officer. He has a beard and looks like Bud Spencer. They send him on a secret mission and they say you have to shave but he refuses. Later during the mission he is captured by the Germans and he is sent to a camp. The rest of the movie is about how they try to evade. Overall, the tone of the movie is on the "lighter" side. It's not heavy drama as I remember.
Spoiler! I remember he gets imprisoned with someone else who is tall and thin and at the end turns out to be a Nazi officer and tries to stop them.
