Rob, it's obviously been far too long since you've seen Magnolia.

The numbers 8 & 2 recur throughout the opening sequences of the film, hence the pun "8:2, Brook K ?" ("Et tu, Brute?"...get it?)

The numbers refer to Exodus 8:2 which reads "If you refuse to let them go, I will plague your whole country with frogs."

If you don't remember the frogs in Magnolia, you must have been sleeping.

Anyway, frogs...hence the Kermit photo.



If I have to explain the joke, then it's no longer funny. :frowning:

The ending is not ridiculous....fantastic (in the classic sense) maybe, but not ridiculous.

I don't think there is another film that has split people down the middle so much, you really only find people who love it or loathe it - there seems to be no middle ground.

So, am I reading correctly that we don't get our next image for another day or so? Just trying to figure the time zone difference here.
