Absolutly. It's pretty terrible too. I was at my local dealer watching Toy Story, I made sure it was on all the models... all the Nakamichi players rendered the movie unwatchable. I was watching it on a 64" Pioneer Elite HDTV.It's terrible to see it on a vaunted company such as Nakamichi. I told the employee about it, and he said that it was just the menu, and the DVD might be defective...

The Chroma bug isn't as much a DVD player's fault as it is the decoder chip, and of the multitude of DVD players in the market, most of them use the same few decoder, many of which have the chroma bug.

I thought that Nakamichi only manufactured SoundSpace systems now.

I was told that Nakamichi discontinued all of their separate components except their stereo receiver, the RE-10. I hope this is accurate information because I am an authorized Nakamichi dealer.
