NAD T550 as CD Player Only (1 Viewer)

What do you guy think of this unit as a CD player only? I've heard some shaky things about it as a DVD player.

Scott I have not used one of these units, from what I have seen of reviews of it, you may not be able to find a better CD player for the money. I understand the as a DVD player it is average at best.

I did hear this yesterday, and it is sweet in 2 channel. I didn't do any comparing, because I'm not in the market for a CD player right now, but for the money it sound very good.
