Do these things exist? Or is it "wall mount or bust?"

Kyle, I was at Lowe's this past weekend, and they had some plant stands that I'm thinking of buying as speaker stands. They were unfinished, and require assembly. They came in 25in, 31in, and another height I don't remember. They were price each, but I'm only sure the price of the 31 in ones. They were $25 each. They were also pretty high in WAF, in case you need to take that into consideration.

Plant stands huh? Clever, how exactly does it work? Do you use velcro, and what does WAF mean?

I haven't actually bought them yet, but I was thinking of using velcro. Just have to figure out how to finish them first.

WAF = wife acceptance factor, also known as Spouse Acceptance Factor (SAF)

I just built some custom speaker stands for my JBL S38 bookshelfs. I decided to make the speaker stands "bookshelfs" themselves to serve economical purposes.
    Materials used:
3/4" sheet MDF $20 at home depot
    16 2" screws
A bunch of Nail gun shots
    A bunch of staple shots
    Some beads of carpenters glue
bondo to seal screw and nail holes
Flat black paint and sponge brush ($6 paint, $.58 brush)
20 stainless steel pegs for shelfs
stips of Mahogany for back stops to shelfs
The height is 24", width is 17", depth 11"
If you can access a shop, it will be easy...
