My wife bought me a Harmony 688 Remote... your thoughts (1 Viewer)

Well, I said I wanted a universal remote. To my surprise, she brought me one. A Harmony 688. So far, it seem pretty good, but I have to really try to customise it. What do you all think?

It's a very good remote in terms of what it can do, but I personally dislike its key layout compared to some of the other Harmony models which have better button separation, for better operation by feel alone. There are pictures of all the models here.

So if you are happy with the layout, keep it, otherwise consider exchanging for a different model.

My parents have the 688. I prefer it to the layout of my 659 because of the location of the Play/FF/REW/Pause buttons.
