The only thing that I would really like to be released is "The Lucy Show"! I would also love to see the 2 Macgyver movies, I have all the sets of Macgyver on dvd and can't wait to see the movies. All of the other dvds that our my favorites have allready been released and I have most all of them including:

1.) "I Love Lucy"
2.) "Macgyver"
3.) "CSI"
4.) "Bewitched"
5.) "I Dream Of Jeannie"
6.) "The Andy Griffith Show"
7.) "House"

I would love to see the court tv shows and drama's released on dvd like

"Forensic Files", "Body Of Evidence", "Masterminds", Psychic Detectives", and much much more...

Hmmm, so many choices...

I'll make a list of eight, so I can include a couple of TV mini-series. These aren't necessarily in order:

* Amerika (mini-series) - Alternate reality about Russians conquering the USA.
Chance of release (see original post for scale) - 2. It came out on VHS many years ago (it took up seven tapes - yes, it was that long), but curiously not out on DVD. There's probably a reason for it.

* Duckman - Animated sitcom about a fowl crime solver. Not for kids.
Chance of release - 3. By the rules of DVD releases, this should have been out already. There must be some problems, but I remain optimistic.

* Favorite Son (mini-series) - Thriller about the media, politics, and politicians.
Chance of release - 1. Released in heavily edited form on VHS.

* Hull High - Musical drama set in high school. Very short run.
Chance of release - 0. Increase it to 1 if "Cop Rock" ever makes it out of the vaults.

* Parker Lewis Can't Lose! - High school sitcom.
Chance of release - 2. Has its fans, so it has a chance.

* Roundhouse - High-energy variety show from Nickelodeon. Aimed at teens, but too good for them.
Chance of release - 1. Nickelodeon has been very slow to release their shows, and I'm sure this is not tops on their list.

* Savannah - Spelling serial drama set in the Georgia city. One of the WB's first shows.
Chance of release - 2. The release of 90210 & Melrose after years in purgatory is helpful, but there may not be enough people who remember the show and are willing to purchase it on DVD.

* The Watcher - One of UPN's first shows. Sir Mix-A-Lot star vehicle.
Chance of release - less than zero. This is the one show I can confidently say will never, ever be released, unless I buy the rights to it or something silly like that.

Great list, Robert...especially that "Lindsay Wagner" series....what's the name? :) I have the "Color Honeymooners" set from the Jackie Gleason Show; got that one for Christmas. Great set but I'd also be interested in the original show as you listed.

I agree with you on numbers 1 to 4 but I'll skip #5. I'm sorry but that show is boring. So, in keeping with the theme of the types of shows you list, I'll add a replacement for your number 5, although I'm really not sure if it exists as it was the last live regularly scheduled series:

Great Ghost Tales

There are individuals who find such (hard) science factual-speculative based SF film works as DESTINATION MOON (1950), THE CONQUEST OF SPACE (1955), 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY (1968) not to mention the extensive tv news coverage of the first epic U.S. manned landing on the Moon in 1969 to be boring...a viewpoint which I don't happen to share at all!

The same is applicable to the fine (and underrated) MEN INTO SPACE (CBS 1959-60) which like so much of the documentary drama school of SF has proven to be remarkably prophetic in its farsighted ideas and concepts explored.

Certainly THE OUTER LIMITS (ABC 1963-65) benefited from all the Space hardware and stock film footage that was utilized for this latter produced SF tv series.

For me Space travel is anything but uninteresting and I'm certain that a definite market exists out there for this (extremely) rare television milestone-treasure...and not only among SF enthusiasts!

This impressive effort boasts excellent featured guest-stars and a fine production talent behind it mirroring the consummate quality and inherent overall competency of television at the time making it far more appreciable today then perhaps when originally telecast back in 1960.

I'm not (personally) familiar with the (similarly) short-lived GREAT GHOST TALES (NBC 1961) outside from what I have read about this supernatural-premised tv show but I'm certainly game should it be released on DVD.

But in the interim bring on MEN INTO SPACE!!!!!
