My SonyB55 receiver has loss its ability to download guide! (1 Viewer)

I've only have this unit 2 months. It overheats all the time and now, I no longer can get to the guide. I have 3 RCA receivers and although the menu and all aren't as attractive as the Sony, at least it don't overheat and it's fast in loading the guide. At first, the Sony receiver was working fine except that when the weather get's to be about 90F, it overheats and you would have to reinsert the card. The receiver is placed on top of the TV stand away from all other equipments. The downloading of the guide has always been slow but now, it's non-existences. Can anyone recommend a resolution to this?
I will never buy another Sony receiver!

Thanks for the link Bob but urgghhhhhhhh, I just hate this. Wish I knew about Sony A55/B55 overheating problem before hand. You've been warned guys.
