I finally bit the bullet and made the purchase that I’ve been dying to make. I can’t believe that my SVS is going to be on its way to my humble little home theater. I decided to get the big one. I wasn’t sure if I needed it or if one of the smaller ones would be better. I came to the conclusion that in the future I will probably need the one that covered all situations. My only concern now is that UPS will destroy my SVS XXL T-shirt in transit. [IMG]
Sorry, it’s one of those nights...

    Jim,

The bad news is that the maual for that sucker is like 30 pages long.

It ain't easy to calibrate a shirt. Won't stay put in the corner.

One thing that sells me is there attention to the customer. I can't believe how quick they reply.

We feel your pain. If only our Canadian amp supplier would get the lead out ... I uh, (hey, put that Molson bottle down! ....)

I'm back, the stitches should be out in a few days.

Anyway, we're making a special trip to Toronto this week specifically to make sure the PC-Plus amp is going to hit its August delivery target for us. What Indigo Manufacturing doesn't know is that we're chaining ourselves to their boardroom table till we get what we want.

SVS customers would expect nothing less naturally. We're all pretty big guys, I suspect they'll relent quickly.

    ;^)

hey, but if you and Tom are chained to a table in Canada, who's going to specially tune my soon-to-be-ordered 25-31PCi to 22? [IMG]

Yeah...also...who's gonna be there to answer our annoying emails? [IMG]
I am aching for an SVS sub right now. I look at my pisspoor 8" Kenwood sub and look at the 16" SVS on SVSubwoofers.com and I think: "*cry* I want an SVS sub, damnit! Now, which forum member do I have to bribe to get me one..." [IMG]

I´ll tell you guys a little story about patience
In january, I pre-order a svs 20-19 cs+. Since I live in Brazil, my "dear" country have a import tax of 60%, plus the cost of shipping. That much would bring the cost of the sub to 1260US, Fortunatelly, I found a miami based importer who could bring me the sub for 300 bucks.
The sub and up being shipped to here in april, due to some complications with the paperwork.
The sub arrived in the harbor in the beggining of may, and them, the customs offcials went on strike [IMG]
Finnaly, I received the sub last week CS+ #0033, and I´v beem happy ever after [IMG]
I only have to wait for 4 months [IMG]

heh, I just placed my order for a 25-31PCi. I've also asked Tom to specially tune it to 22Hz (hence my earlier post "wondering" about who'd do the tuning if Ron and Tom were chained to some table "up North"... [IMG] )
I can't wait to fire up this baby...

awright! my 25-31PCi just shipped! many thanks to Tom, Ron & Erik at SVS for handling all my queries with the utmost patience -- though I must "warn" Tom that I'll probably be bugging him for help when I get it and start trying to place and calibrate it...
as an indication of timing for anyone else considering buying from SVS, I placed the order on Friday, and despite the special requests for 22Hz tuning and changing the voltage to 220V/50Hz, it shipped Tuesday afternoon from Ohio. it's now somewhere at Chicago O'Hare in transit... [IMG]

I'm terribly sorry if this is a stupid question, but what are you guys talking about "22Hz tuning?" Thanks for answering my dumb question.

Kudos as well to Ron, Tom, and Erik, for their tag team work and incredibly fast replies to my inquiries.
(although I was 80% leaning to the SVS to begin with, I didn't receive a reply whatsoever to my questions from HSU)
I'm too am waiting for my SVS, a 20-39pci. WFA? I didn't tell her exactly how big this puppy is. (I can duck fast though)[IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
(I hope it doesn't sit too damn long in customs)
