Well everyone, I finally did it!! I drove dow to the San Ramon Cambridge store today and made my first purchase of home theater equipment.

    This is what I got:

50" SONY Grand WEGA™ LCD Rear Projection TV

5 (Mains, Surround, and Center) Cambridge SoundWorks Newton Series™ MC300IW In-Wall Speaker

Cambridge SoundWorks BassCube 12S Powered Subwoofer

Sony Progressive Scan DVD player (DVP-NS725P)

And 200 feet of THX in-wall 14ga Monster Cable

It came to a grand total of $4160 I think that I got a GREAT deal! YOu guys need to hear the in-wall Newtons, they sound AMAZING!

Tonight I'm going to order my silver Denon 2803.

I move into my first house next week (escrow closed Friday!!). That means next weekend I'm running some cable. I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

Thanks again to everyone who helped me make up my mind on the equipment. This forum is GREAT!

Sounds like a great system, and that Sony Grand Wega will be gorgeous!
