    Hey everyone,

First time posting. Have enjoyed all your theaters and the wealth of information you all have to offer. My basement is about 95 % finished. The Media Room/Theater is waiting for the TV and av equipment (tomorrow should be the day). Check out my site (click on the photos link for some pics). The flash on my cheesy digital camera washed everything out. The wall unit is 2 custom built black lacquer cabinets, the left side has DVD/CD storage and the right will have Middle atlantic racks with all the equipment.

    My equipment will be:

    TV: Toshiba 57HDX82
    Sat: Zenith HD Receiver
    AVR: Denon 1803
All in wall Speakers; Sonance all around
    Subwoofer:Monitor Audio ASW100
    DVD: Onkyo
    Remote: Pronto TSU 3000
I went all inwall because I didn't want alot of equipment around. this is also a family room so my wife did have a say.

Posters were plak mounted (very cool)

let me know what you thinkmy theater

Welcome to the forum Bruce. Is that a wall you built at the front soundstage and is there a room back there? I assume you are going to put the display device behind the wall.

    So far so good.

BTW, 176K for a thumbnail is way too large.

I only saw one pic. Is that all there is supposed to be? Looking at your pic just gave me a great idea. Looks neat. I think I will try something like that now.

Looks good, I went with the TV, equipment and DVD's in the wall also, looks clean and makes more space. Keep up the good work, there's nothing better than sitting down and watching a great movie when it's all done..

Very nice looking theater you have there. I love when people recess their RPTV's and only the screen shows. I live for the day that I can recess mine, it would speed up my move to a front projector.

    Just a quick update:

the Toshiba 57 inch just barely got down my staircase but what a beauty. Got the mid atlantic racks, denon avr, onkyo dvd and hd sat receiver in place. I don't know how i can ever watch a regular broadcast after having seen the HD HBO attack of the clones.

anyway check out the website for 2 updated pics.updated HT [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
