My God! Onk 898 and drop outs!! (1 Viewer)

I can't believe this. I read a bunch of posts about audio drops and Pearl Harbor and JPIII but I had no idea it was this bad!

I just popped in the 2nd disk of Pearl Harbor.. it's completely unwatchable!! Drop outs every f'n 25 seconds. Is there anything that can be done... I know.. I am going to search the board some more.. but I just wanted to vent.

did the research ... found out what was going on .. problem with this DVD and JPIII. Switched to DTS track and all is well.
Hope this doesn't continue on future titles! :frowning:

Obviously, the problem is as much with the software as the hardware, since this problem has been exhibited cross-brand on these two titles.
