Ahh four long weeks of sanding, priming, sanding, finshing, sanding, finshing, sanding, and finally finishing paid off :) Same design as Joseph Howard's except I wanted the elusive hi gloss black finish. I think it was worth the effort. Pictures linked because of the large size.
Primered
I used kilz primer/sealer. Nasty stuff but good for MDF.
Finishing the shelves
Note these are dry.
Finished
Stocked with my modest equipment
Also note my place normally isn't this messy :b I'me in the process of moving stuff around cause the flexy is so big.

Looks similar to the one I am currently attempting to build. Key word: attempting. Tonight, weather permitting, I will be putting the Kilz on the sides and top. Tomorrow will take care of the bottom. Then on goes the high gloss black paint. All I can say is we shall see. Has been an interesting project so far. Be even better if it turns out well. :D
