I would vote to include both versions on the DVD. But, if only one version, I would prefer the longer version. I would definitely purchase the DVD.

i can't think of a better 'extra' than an alternate cut of a movie.
it was sorely missed on Touch of Evil, hopefully Fox can see the light w/ Clementine.


in any case, i'm looking forward to this more than anything (including all the summer blockbusters comming this fall).

maybe while they're at it, they can dust off another classic w/ Linda Darnell -A Letter To Three Wives.

It looks like both versions will be present on the dvd release scheduled for 2003!

Can anybody explain what "Alternate Pre-released Version" means

It's been confirmed with me that both versions will be on the dvd when it's released in January. Also, expect more westerns from Fox in 2004.
