Ok Ok, these are 3D modeled but I guess they could still
be considered as D.I.Y since I did make them [IMG] And here
are some 3D modeled renders of my next set of Bi-Wires that
I will be making in a month or so.
Let me know what you think..

    Pat,
I haven't gotten that far yet [IMG] It takes time to model
this stuff [IMG] What I am going to do is add a tweeter
D'Apolitto style and then copy the whole driver section
to the back of the cabinent (Similar to BP2000's) and then
I am even going to model an amp, crossover and wires..
This is so much fun [IMG]

    Pat,
Does this look better? I even made a crossover and added
the binding post box. Now I need to make an internal amp
and then I need to "copy" the whole assemby and position
it 180 degrees opposite and do a re-render that way you
can see both sides at once.

Sort of a la Defective Technology? Oops...I guess that's Definitive Technology![IMG]
They do look great! All you need to do now is actually build them!

I don't understand dipole mains. I envision mushy sound.

    Pat,
All I can say is ask some Definitive Technology BP2000
owners if they sound mushy. You have to give them lots
of room to breathe from what I understand. But when you
can and do they sound super (so the owners say).
This is nothing more than an exercise in design and having
a little fun. I have no plans on building anything [IMG]
I enjoy the design area more than the actual construction.
perhaps if I had a workshop that would be diffrent [IMG]
I am, however making the cables that I showed above.. Cables
don't require me to have thousands of dollars worth of wood
    working equipment.

Then they are definitely not my cup of tea.
