Since my massive SAN ACE is to high of a current draw to
plug directly into the MoBo I had to run it direct off the
Power Supply. To control the fan I made a custom plexiglass
filler plate and installed a RadioShack red push button
switch and 12vdc fillament light.
How does it look? Ohh and here are some other shots of the
PC case too.. (I made the NviDia logo)

Masood,
Thanks.. I left enough room that when I figure out where
to mount the OTHER SAN ACE I can add another button and
light :)
I am seriously pondering a Plexi Window and Cold Cathode
Neon tube inside.. And I am getting those stainless braided
Round ATA-133 and Floppie cabled :)
I laid off of this whole PC thing for many years (mainly
because I deal with the latest and greatest at work) but
now that I have a new toy I find my interest has been reinvigerated
all over again!
Yeah the Millennia TS Case is a gem.. The easy Dock Drive
Bays are a godsend and there is tons of room in the case.
My only complaint is that I WISH I had 2 more 5.25" bays
open so that I could install the Digital Fan Doctor bay and
the Sound Blaster Live! Front Bay controls.. I guess I will
have to go with an Extigy if I want all those features :)

Nice install.

Did you ever find out the specs of the fan? I'm still curious.

Camp,

I have not gotten specs on this exact model because they

don't have it listed in thier DataBase (I will have to email

them)

But going by dimensions and features (tachometer lead and

motor type) I am going to say 152 CFM (that is what all the

other same sized SAN ACE's are)

What do you guys think of this...
pc6.jpg

That was done in PhotoShop. I seriously want to "trick"
this case out and some of the ideas I have are to paint
the case with GM Base Coat/Clear Coat in Millennium Yellow
(the color of my car, see image below) with the strips on
the side of the face bezel done in Electron Blue. I also
want to add a side window and a Cold Cathode Neon light inside
the case and I am ordering round IDE Cables (Clear with
Stainless Braid )
Here is a picture of my car to give you an idea how bright
the yellow will be! :)

Larry,
Ebay is one place... Then there are web companies like NewEgg
http://www.newegg.com that carry VanTek Round IDE ATA100
Cables (which are probably better than most of the junk on
ebay that you have no idea who made it)
My beef with NewEgg is that right now I have $51.00 worth
of cables, memory cooling kits and NviDia case logo's in
my basket and they want FIFTEEN fricken dollars to ship
FedEx Super Saver... FIFTEEN dollars to ship less than
2 pounds worth of stuff that would fit in a tiny box....
I think I am going to spend my money elsewhere. Besides
they don't have the TermalTake Dragon Copper CPU cooler in
stock that I want... (and they don't even have the Tornado 7+
listed!

PLEASE do not order from NewEgg.com they are a BAD company. I don't know WHAT is wrong with their gear, but they have sent me 2 bad motherboards, one bad CPU, and they did NOT care. They are RUDE! I would shop ANY place else, I also looked on www.pricewatch.com and found the round IDE cables for $5.

Sorry your NewEgg experience wasn't so great. That's not the general opinion of them though. Personally, I love NewEgg. Cheap stuff is a great thing. I've had 2 bad mobos from them in the last 6 months (I upgrade alot) and they quickly replaced them both.
Here's a good link for rounded cables:

Well fellas,
I spent the past 5 hours searching for a reputable web site
where I could order everything and I came up blank. I placed
the order with NewEgg and I plan on rating them with BizRate
(They are going to receive a marginal rating solely for the
cost of shipping alone)
I had no other choice no one has all the stuff I needed and
I am not going to piecemeal order from 5 diffrent places
just to get what I want.
I ordered:
2 18" Yellow Round ATA100 Dual Device IDE Cables
1 24" Yellow Round FDD Cable
3 NvDia Clear Domed Case Badges (at $.99 each I can resell
these on ebay for $3.00 ++)
ThermalTake DDR RAM Active Memory Cooling Kit (Fan Cooled)
ThermalTake DDR RAM Passive Memory Cooling Kit (you need this
because the Active Kit only does one DIMM)
I wanted to order a new CPU fan but they don't have the Socket
478 Dragon Orb in stock nor do they have the new Copper
Volcano 7 Plus in stock.
I am going to do more research on CPU coolers first.. From
what I have read good temperature ranges from 90 Deg F in
a idle state to 110 Degrees F during hard processing and my
Cooler Master currently keeps me in that range. I would like
to see it run at 90 degrees or less while doing intensive
processing though.
As for the case mods...
I am adding a window.. I plan to add a cold cathode neon
tube (not sure what color yet) and I may do some other
stuff as well :)
Camp,
Yeah that car is already overclocked.. I did a few minor
modifications here and there (Shifter, Exhaust, Ram Air,Apearance Items) it's around 360 horse (stock was 345)
:D

What CPU are you using?

The Volcano 7 is a decent cooler but the Orbs are crap. They look cool but you can get a much better performer. I assume if you're serious enough to cool your RAM you might want something better for you CPU.

BTW, most people measure their CPU & case temps in celsius not fahrenheit

You can get rounded cables and other PC modifications from (drumroll) PC-Mods. They have a good selection, and are easy to deal with. I've gotten a few things from them (cables, lights, etc).

Camp,
Yeah some people beleive Metric should be the Standard too.
I am not one of them :)
I am running a Socket 478 Pentium 4 1.8Ghz and it will be
overclocked as soon as I figgure out how to circumvent Intel's
measures to stop OC'rs :)
The Volcano 7+ looks like a good cooler.. The Orbs were not
really on my list but the Gold Dragon Orb does have a copper
CPU Interface.. Finding Socket 478 HeatSink's right now is
very limited.. Everyone is catering to those stinkin AMD
processors :)
Darren,
The case isn't painted yet, that is just a PhotoShop image
to see how the colors would look. When it's painted it will
be like a sheet of glass and would look WORLDS better..
Not much interesting inside.. It's a 1.8Ghz P4, 256K PC2100
DDR RAM, VisionTek X-Tasy NviDia GeForce 3 Titanium 200 AGP
running 4X Multiplier and 64 Megs DDR SDRAM, DVD-ROM, CD-RW,
60GB Segate Barracuda Ultra ATA, Western Digital 1.6GB,
Connor (Segate) 1.0 GB hard disks...
One of those floppies is just a spare (what better place to
store it)

Please...they just sell the damn things. Someone else makes them.
Besides...I might have pushed those motherboards a bit beyond their limits :)

Camp,

I am not down playing thier prices or even speed of shipment

of goods. But thier S&H prices are absurdly out of range.

I used to work in retail sales and I worked directly with

UPS as I was a UPS Global Ship Center. And I can tell you

that when you go to UPS and look up shipping rates they

will be MUCH cheaper than what NewEgg charges and that is

YOUR price. Buisness's that ship thousands of dollars of

goods each day get dirt cheap shipping from FedEx and UPS.

There was absolutely no reason for them to charge me $16.00

to ship 3 round cables, 3 case badges and an Active Memory

Cooling Kit.

I will reflect this once the product arrives and I file my

report with BizRate.

I would have went elsewhere had I been able to find a place

that offered what I needed and I knew I could trust.

To give you an idea what it costs to ship certain items..

You see that picture of my Corvette above? Well it came with

2 Targa Tops (One Smoked Arcrylic and one Painted Fiberglass)

I didn't want the Arcrylic Top so I sold it to a fellow

forum member over at the corvetteforum and he lives in

the Bahamas. I shipped the top which weighed at least 20Lbs

and was a very large box, UPS Ground to FLA from PA and it

cost me $19.00 that was including insurance for the amount

of $1500.00

Furthurmore they will LIE to you about their shipping policy and give some BULLSHIT excuses about handling. It's a garbage company and I VEHEMENANTLY disparage them EVERY chance I get. Camp-The stresses of overclocking are stresses on the CPU not the motherboard. The fact that they sell bad gear leads me to suspect it's grey market stuff, regardless of if they are authorized resellers of it. I have an account with a local wholesaler, I have bought NUMEROUS motherboards from them (Over 10) and zero have been bad. 2 motherboards which would NOT post is not just an anomaly, I think they sell their RMAs back and hope that the problem gets fixed. Im am GRUDGINGLY RMA ANOTHER motherboard to them, it's my LAST dealing with them, I can ASSURE you.
