If you bend it a little for a non-actor, my Bacon number is 2 or 3.

As a result of my son and daughter playing with his son on the beach all day, while he was in the shooting of French Kiss (1995), my family and I were on a two-family-party on a private boat on the Mediterranian with Timothy Hutton and his son (and a few actresses).

So:
- I was on that private boat with Timothy Hutton.
- Timothy Hutton was in Heavens Fall (2005) with Maury Chaykin.
- Maury Chaykin was in Where the Truth Lies (2005) with Kevin Bacon.

Or:
- I was on that boat also with Susan Anbeh.
- Susan Anbeh was (apparently!) in French Kiss (1995) with Meg Ryan.
- Meg Ryan was in In the Cut (2003) with Kevin Bacon.


Through French Kiss, I can even bend it a bit further (not actually "meeting", but "being present") to having a Bacon number of 2:

My wife and I were present on the "set" watching several takes of French Kiss (which then had the working title of Paris Match): inside our hotel, on the beach and on a distant quay.

So:
- I was on the set with Meg Ryan in French Kiss.
- Meg Ryan was in In the Cut (2003) with Kevin Bacon.
