Anyone else notice this is now a June 17th release? Not May 20th as originally posted.

RE: beautiful cover art. Still the same picture of Ms. Lansbury that graced the titanic DVD box set, cropped to left and right, and lengthened to include a bit more at the bottom. The book cover leathering is taken from the first DVD 'flipper' disc box set of Season 1 from 1999. So, all Uni did was mash two pre-existing images together to create a hybrid image.

No thought to this. None at all. And no mention of including the post-series mystery movies as part of this release.

I've been asking the same question on many 'announced titles'. It seems like the disconnect between announcements and preorders is a chronic condition these days, Murder She Wrote being the latest casualty.

Others in that limbo, High Society, Lean on Me, The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas, The Sound of Music, Bewitched (complete from Mill Creek), Executive Suite, Shane 4K, A Date with Judy, The Enchanted Cottage, The Citadel, Splendor in the Grass.

The most laughable of the lot is 'Whorehouse' which was announced in January with an undisclosed 'street' of 'early 2025'.

Um...it's end of May, folks.

Don't know what constitutes 'early' at Uni these days, but June 1st is the half-way point of every year. So, 'early' according to what barometer of measurement?

Personal opinion, of course, but I really don't see the point in making such announcements for upcoming releases and then, not posting pre-order links to go along with them, if not on the same date, then, at least a week thereafter.

Criterion and Kino are exceptionally good at this. Paramount, sometimes. Universal - not so much. Warner Archive...not at all!

Under the rubric of 'Sh%! happens', I'm sort of 'okay' when 'dates' get pushed back, owing to production delays or other 'forces' beyond one's control. But there's another adage that starts with the same 'word' that basically says what I'm trying to here.

I'm paraphrasing here, to keep everything on a PG rated level of integrity, but 'Either poo or get off the pot.'

Holding in my anxiety to preorder all of these titles is making me constipated with anticipation!
Some of those Amazon Pre-Order links are showing up now. Some of them are still not active yet. Others have just been announced but without any release dates.

Went through my list. Of the lot, the only 'new' preorder I found on Amazon was for Lean on Me. Couldn't find any of the others previously mentioned.

Yes, I posted the updated release date a week ago. And the product description I posted this morning confirms that all four TV movies will be included.

Shane was added to our listing and Bewitched has been there for a while through at least two release date changes. Those WA June titles won't show up until next month which has been the pattern for a while with WA titles. By the way, the studios and websites are going to do whatever they want with these preorders and there's nothing we can do about it because I think some of these delays are due to the plant replication capacity issues. Frankly, I don't think there isn't anything George Feltenstein can do about it with his WA titles. In short, we're screwed!

Pre-orders are starting to pop up, including at MovieZyng:

Moviezyng has it currently listed at $149.98

Deepdiscount for $164.61

Also at Amazon but no "pre order" button or price listed yet.

IMHO, that $150 price tag is quite reasonable for a TVonBR release with that many episodes.

I will get this but probably not at release. For that price, I’ll wait to make sure none of the episodes are missing anything

Many of you probably already know this, but MSW was the last US drama series to be shot and edited on film, long after its peers had switched to the cheaper shot on film/edited on video method. This was apparently at Angela Lansbury’s insistence. And it has paid off.

I take it it that way from the 1984 genesis all the way to the end in 1996, correct?

Anyone got this yet? How is it packaged? thoughts on it so far?
There are several unboxings on YouTube. Each season has its own case (yay!) but the box that holds them is one of those flimsy ones Paramount used for Frasier and Cheers (boo!).

Here's a better look at the packaging I found. Gotta say, it looks pretty great. Shame about the box being a little flimsy, but that's manageable.

Love the colors there, and the vintage book cover motif on not just the individual seasonals within, but the discs within those seasonals (as well as the post-series movie discs).

I agree. I will be purchasing this. It looks great. I have the DVD version and the box was flimsy as well but I love the way this looks
