This is a strange Blu-ray MOD release by Sony.

A b-movie from the 1930s starring Richard Arlen and Fay Wray? Why of course I'm going to get it!

Question to myself: Is there ANY b-movie starring either Richard Arlen or Fay Wray that I would 'not' get? The answer is very likely no. Anyway, I pre-ordered this immediately upon hearing abut it a few days ago.

It's nice to see Sony taking a chance on an obscure B-movie from the 1930s. I hope they continue to churn out more classic films through their MOD line... I'm still still keeping my fingers crossed for The Taming of the Shrew with Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton. I'm surprised it hasn't already been released... I hope there aren't any issues with the elements.

This utterly gobsmacks me. Back when I was at Sony, I tried like hell to get them to do a Fay Wray box set, of which this would have been one of the titles. The response: "She's just another dead actress." Considering there are still Oscar-winning films they haven't put out yet, I'm at a total loss to explain this--unless it's some sort of way-early April Fools joke.
