Didn't see this posted yet. When you go to Time Life you will see they are offering the muppets 1-10 for 99.96. If you click on this, a window will appear giving you the chance to purchase all 15 episodes for 149.96. Shipping is $13.99 for the full set.

Combine this deal with the 25% off code (CF25B2) and you can get the set for about $127 shipped.

This is about $8.46 per disc.

When does that coupon expire? I'm hoping to take advantage of this once my monthly credit card rolls over! [IMG]

    TonyD,

Don't worry, I also had the set "backordered." I received it in the mail two days later. They actually are quite fast (or at least were) in filling orders.

mine finally shipped. only took 3 weeks.

when i called they told me it took so long becuase they have to put the 15 dvd's together because they arent an actual set.

so they had to wait until the missing dvd's came in.

    Tony,

That link is for the first five discs (1-5), not 11-15. All I can find is 11-15 for $99, which just isn't happening. If anyone can find 11-15 for $50, please post it.

    Thanks,

    -Chad

Does anyone know how many episodes were produced? (Just the original series, not the recent one.) What percentage are included on these 15 discs?

Mine just came this week as well (Monday actually). I also ordered all 15.

Chad, I sent customer service at Time Life this note:

"Hello. I just bought the complete 1-15 set of the muppets DVDs. The guy that told me about them, Chad, wants to complete his set as well. I know you had them for $50 for numbers 11-15. Can you please send me the link or tell me how my buddy Chad can get them for $50 please? Thankyou."

I will let you know what they write back with when I hear from them.

Are the DVDs from Time Life or Columbia closed captioned?

No, Brandon. See my answer to the same question in Ron's review of Col's 3 & 4 to get more details.
Also see the same thing to find out when you can buy Col's 1 & 2 for just $12.95 or less!! [IMG]
Tony, Sorry I didn't see you're earlier post. I've got all 15 existing discs, so I'm not always following this thread when it resurfaces.

    So,

Has anyone found a way to order 11-15 for around $50?

One would think that previous buyers wouldn't get screwed trying to add to their collection.
