multi region dvd player (1 Viewer)

Can you suggest a good multi region dvd player (R1 and R3). Preferably one that can play DVD, VCD, MP3, CD. Prog scan nice but not essential. DVD-A or SACD capability will be great but not important. $400 budget.

I bought a JVC from here that is multi-region with everything you want except DVD-A & SACD but there is a JVC model that has DVD-A. These have excellant PAL/NTSC converters.

I assume you're referring to the JVC XVS-500B you have listed in your sig. I looked on the JVC web site and I found a XV-S500BK. Is this the same as you have? Anyways, it does not mention anything about multi region or a PAL/NTSC converter. Is yours a hacked version or am I missing something here?
