DVD Planet lists a 4/9 release date for MULHOLLAND DRIVE. Excellent news as this is my favorite movie of 2001. Seems kinda pricey though--$32.98 for a featureless Universal title? I'm still all over it.

Knowing Lynch, we should be so lucky if this has chapter stops.

DVDplanet also lists a DTS soundtrack. I hope this is correct! MD had an open soundtrack with subtlety, especially in the quieter parts of the film.

MULHOLLAND DRIVE is an absolute masterpiece, and is Lynch's best film, and is the best film of 2001! I am definitely getting the DVD! I figured the DVD would be extraless, but isn't there at least a trailer? I like trailers.

    From DVD FILE:

Mulholland Drive will arrive on DVD on 4/9. While lacking in supplements, the disc features a 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, English Dolby Digital and DTS 5.1 surround tracks, production notes, filmographies, and the trailer. Retail is $24.95.

So it seems as though DVD Planet got the retail price a little off.

I'll be counting down the days until April 9 to pick up my favorite film of 2001! Silencio!

I just hope that Naomi Watts isn't snubbed by the Oscars!

I've seen DVD File post a number of incorrect prices so I'm waiting before saying that Amazon & DVD Planet are wrong with the $32.98 price tag.

However, a definite but for me whatever the price. The best film of 2001 hands down!

I wouldn't complain if it was $40... owning this movie is a no-brainer for me.

I'm not surprised by the lack of supplements, but I'm surprised it's streeting so soon. Lynch films are notorious for getting wrapped up in distribution issues.

Because of the latest Groundhog Day DTS fiasco, I will take a 'wait and see' approach for a DTS track on Mulholland Drive. Until my receiver starts scrolling 'DTS 3/2' across the front, I'll stay cautiously optimistic.

    Great news though!

I wish they had used the double poster with Naomi Watts at the bottom or just the Naomi Watts version of the poster for the cover...oh well.

Looks great except for the blurb from the quote whore. I wish studios had taste and restraint when it comes to covers, like a Criterion.
