It isn't. I sold my old one, and would buy a SE of this in a heartbeat.

This is a movie in dire need of a new anamorphic transfer!! The current transfer is absolutely one of the worst i've ever seen!!

I'd buy this one in a heartbeat if they made a new transfer in a SE!

I love the movie, but had no qualms selling my copy of it. It is the worst transfer I've seen. The shimmering edges of bleachers, blinds, tables, etc are unbelievably distracting. It desperately needs a new re-mastered anamorphic transfer.

Just an FYI that if you're multi-region then the R2 and R4 versions of this DVD are anamorphic and feature a better transfer than R1. It's not spectacular, but it's certainly better.

I know an HD Master exists for this film because it was on StarzHD not too long ago (cropped to 16x9 of course).

Add me to the list of certain rebuyers if this gets a proper SE. For now I'll stick with my R2.
