Because it was never in stock. If it was delayed then Amazon will often cancel a pre-order depending on the anticipated length of the delay. If it was from a 3rd party selling via Amazon it could be that it was cancelled outright. I've had a couple of titles that got such delays and have been cancelled several times due to the vendor pushing back the release date due to licensing/etc.

FWIW - Best Buy, Target, and Deepdiscount still have it listed...

Amazon hasnt sent me anything to indicate anything has changed, so we will see. Ordered seasons 5 and 6 at the same time as the Christmas DVDs. They came awhile ago and the money was taken out of my bank account. Just play things by ear I guess,

For anyone who is interested in Ricky's singing performances in the O & H series, I've been documenting them as I watched the first 7 seasons. I want to share my list with you because it's very time consuming to organize it so that it's useful to quickly search out these songs.

This list contains every song Ricky sang in the first seven seasons. I've listed the songs alphabetically by song title and told you exactly where to find them in the series. With each song title I've given you the Season # [S.#], Disc # [D.#], Episode # [E.#], Episode Title and the [Min:Sec] location within the episode of where the performance in located.

I plan to continue documenting his performances through the end of the series, but it may not be until the first of next year when I can get back on this project. Also, I'm a detailed person that strives for 100% accuracy, but I'm not above making a mistake or two. So, I welcome anyone who would like to fact check me to do so, because I'd hate to leave out a performance or two, mainly in the name of accuracy. I would appreciate you posting to this thread, any errors or omissions I might have made so I can update my documentation.

Where I may have strayed from accuracy would be in seasons 3 & 4, IF there were some rebroadcast episodes that were not labeled as such on the DVD case card. I did find one such episode that was a rebroadcast where Ricky did sing as an older guy, but wasn't labeled as a rebroadcast. It was "David's Birthday" in S.6, D.1, E.6.

Oh, at the end of the list, I've included performances by other people on the series, but how complete those are, I couldn't say....well okay, I'd say they're 98% complete.

I'm not sure how clear and organized my list will look on the page once I post it, but I hope it's clear enough for those interested to get some use from it. Enjoy!!

For anyone who is interested in Ricky's singing performances in the O & H series, I've been documenting them as I watched the first 7 seasons. I want to share my list with you because it's very time consuming to organize it so that it's useful to quickly search out these songs.

This list contains every song Ricky sang in the first seven seasons. I've listed the songs alphabetically by song title and told you exactly where to find them in the series. With each song title I've given you the Season # [S.#], Disc # [D.#], Episode # [E.#], Episode Title and the [Min:Sec] location within the episode of where the performance in located.

I plan to continue documenting his performances through the end of the series, but it may not be until the first of next year when I can get back on this project. Also, I'm a detailed person that strives for 100% accuracy, but I'm not above making a mistake or two. So, I welcome anyone who would like to fact check me to do so, because I'd hate to leave out a performance or two, mainly in the name of accuracy. I would appreciate you posting to this thread, any errors or omissions I might have made so I can update my documentation.

Where I may have strayed from accuracy would be in seasons 3 & 4, IF there were some rebroadcast episodes that were not labeled as such on the DVD case card. I did find one such episode that was a rebroadcast where Ricky did sing as an older guy, but wasn't labeled as a rebroadcast. It was "David's Birthday" in S.6, D.1, E.6.

Oh, at the end of the list, I've included performances by other people on the series, but how complete those are, I couldn't say....well okay, I'd say they're 98% complete.

I'm not sure how clear and organized my list will look on the page once I post it, but I hope it's clear enough for those interested to get some use from it. Enjoy!!
