mp3 software question (1 Viewer)

i was just wondering if there are any mp3 editing programs out there that can join 2 files together without decoding/reincoding? all i want to do actually is tag on some silence (2 to 4 seconds) to some files. how does it work if the file is VBR?

Don't know if it will work for you. I used it to split a very large mp3 file I had.
