Looking for a MP3 player for my 16 year old nephew for Christmas. A couple that have caught my eye are the SonicBlue Rio 800 128MB & the Creative Labs 6GB (hardrive) Nomad Jukebox.

Any opinions on the above players, or any other players, welcome. Any tips on features to look for welcome also. Price range is up to $250.

My grandparents got me a Memorex CD/MP3 player for my birthday at Target (it cost around $70). The player plays CDs, CD-Rs, and CD-RWs. In my opinion, it's a pretty good CD/MP3 player, the only problem is that the player drains batteries pretty damn fast.

I have an iPod...it's the coolest MP3 player and portable FireWire hard drive around.

But it doesn't work on the PC yet.

So, if I were stuck in PC land and couldn't wait for the PC version of iTunes, I would check out the Rio Volt CD/MP3 player. You can burn MP3 CD's and play them on this unit. There are two varieties: one that goes for around $100 and the other that goes for around $150 (that comes with accessories).
