I currently have a dual LNB DirecTV system and am moving to a house where they said they were leaving the DISH Network system already installed. I was orignally planning on removing my Directv equipment from the current house?

Any thoughts on what I should do? Should I switch to Dish and use their equipment? Should I use DirecTV's moving service? Any thoughts? The only unknown at this point is whether the new house will include the receivers or just the dish...

Thanks,

Matt

I also heard that the satellite antenna will work with either DTV or Dish. So bring your DTV receivers connect them up to the feed from the Dish LNBs and your in business.

Oh yea, you'll probably have to re-aim the antenna though.

I think the single dishes (Single or dual LNB)are compatible, but if you have the dual elliptical dishes, I think they are incompatible. I have dish and have been happy with it, but this has a lot to do with the fact they let me keep my original programming plan. If you're thinking of getting a PVR, DirectTivo is the way to go.
