Moving a RPTV in BAD WEATHER (1 Viewer)

Hey gang

I have a 48" JVC I-Art 16:9 HDTV and I am planning on moving to a new apartment this week.

Problem: The weatherman is forcasting a 100% chance of "light rain" that day (DAMMIT!)

What sort of preventative measures should I employ when moving this puppy?

Just cover it in plastic (cut and tape a couple of garbage bags to it) and you'll be fine.

Let it warm to inside temperatures for a day as well, moisture, and likely cold, do not go well together, as things can condensate on the innards, and you want to let that evaporate or you might end up with some arcing. Not that likely, but still an increased possibility.
