While I was in that "I'm too old for this" phase (I was 11), I hesitated to watch Toy Story. But then I was dragged into seeing it in theaters and it instantly became one of my all-time favorite films.

I also avoided seeing Cast Away in theaters after the trailer spoiled most of the movie. But then I got it on DVD and I liked it a lot.
