I was joyfully scanning through IMDb aimlessly and was looking at some info on North by Northwest, when I noticed something pretty neat: Jimmy Stewart plays a guy named George Kaplan!
Using the oh-so-groovy "Character Search", I discovered that many of the HTF regulars have also appeared in various movies without their knowledge. (Keep in mind that these are the character names, and not the actor's...)
George Kaplan:
North by Northwest (1959)
Hudson Hawk (1991)
Robert Crawford:
King of the Texas Rangers (1941)
Breaking Up (TV movie - 1978)
Finding Forrester (2000)
Brian Lawrence:
Brookside (TV series - 1982)
Jack Briggs:
The Broadway Boob (1926)
Rain:
Dark City (1998)
Big Trouble in Little China (1986)
Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1987)
Husbands and Wives (1992)
...and a few others! Rain is a movie star.
Alas, I was unable to find any appearances by Scott Weinberg, Alex Spindler, Steve Bergeron, Jason Whyte, Dana Fillhart, Mark Pfeiffer, Robert George, Seth Paxton, Matthew Chmiel, Jeff Kleist, Parker Clack or Ron Epstein (which seems weird to me as I thought it would have returned SOME result).
Let us know if you've been in any movies!
