So what movies have we got coming next year that people are excited about? I can only think of a handful that I know about that I'm looking forward to.

    Blackhawk Down

    Star Wars AOTC

    LOTR The Two Towers

    Minority Report

    ?

    ?

    ?

What else is coming? I've spent so much time this year anticipating the FOTR and Harry Potter that I haven't paid much attention to what's on the horizon.

I can feel the flames already but I'm actually looking forward to Jason X. I plan to take a look at Spiderman, too.

Early rumors about Blade 2 have been very positive.

Apparently, New Line is very excited about the first cut of the film.

Technically Black Hawk Down is a 2001 title but since it's getting wide release in 2002 I guess it counts [IMG]
My list, in somewhat of an order, is:
The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers
    Minority Report
    Blackhawk Down
    Spiderman
Star Wars Episode 2: Attack of the Clones
That's all I can think of for now.
edit: Is The Matrix Reloaded a 2002 title? I think it is. So add The Matrix Reloaded somewhere in that list.

WB moved "The Matrix Reloaded" to a summer 2003 release date. Fox is also going to do the same for "The X-Men 2". It was scheduled for a December 2002 release, but with shooting beginning in July, expect Fox to soon make an announcement that the movie will be their big summer 2003 release. Fox is now likely to make "Daredevil" their big December release.

As for 2002, here are the flicks I'm most looking forward to seeing...

"Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones"

"The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers"

    "Minority Report"

    "The Road to Perdition"

    "Men in Black II"

    "The Sum of All Fears"

    "Signs"

    "Blade 2"

    "Spider-Man"

    "Gangs of New York"

    Are you kidding me, freakin
    TIME MACHINE BABY!!!
I saw the trailer run in front of Ocean's 11 and it looks to be a great remake.
Ice Age is another I'm interested in.
Sadly I also saw the trailer for a film that looked good except for 2 credits...
    produced by Bruckheimer
    directed by Schumacher
My guess is that like all Brucks the film plays best as a trailer, but you never know I suppose. Still with those 2 involved it would be a stunning achievement if the film is actually good. It's Bad Company btw.

2002 is looking to be a great year.
    MUST SEE
    The Two Towers
    Attack of the Clones
Gangs of New York Scorsese on Mobsters. How can it not be great.
    Good Omens Terry Gilliam
    Panic Room David Fincher
    Kill Bill Q Tarantino
    Bond 20
    Signs M Night
    Megalopolis Coppola does sci-fi
    Blackhawk Down
Time Machine I hate it when they remake classic films but I'm with Seth on this one. The trailers look great.
Spider-manI'm getting uneasy about this one. From what I've seen this could slip into Cheese territory.
X-Men 2 If it doesn't get pushed back to 2003.
    MILDLY CURIOUS
    Femme Fatale De Palma
Red DragonI hated HANNABAL but this has got Hopkins and Ed Norton so its looking good to me.
    Windtalkers John Woo does WWII
We Were Soldiers Mel Gibson goes to Nam
Star Trek X I'm more partial to the original crew but its an even number entry so its got to be good right?
The Farm Pacino as a CIA double agent.
Queen of the Damned This would be a must see if they brought back the original cast and director to INTERVIEW.
True Lies 2 First movie was decent although somewhat overrated. This should have some great action sequences at least.
    AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE
Sum of all Fears Ben Affleck as Jack Ryan. Yeah right!

Ryan, "Sum of All Fears" is going to be released in the summer of 2002 as scheduled. There were rumors that Paramount would shelve the movie, but they've maintained that the movie will not be put-off and will be released next summer.

Apparently, Gibson won't be in "Mad Max 4". If that's the case, then why even bother doing the movie? I doubt they could make a 'Max' movie as good as "The Road Warrior" anyway.

Actually, since seeing the Spiderman trailer a few months ago I have been planning to be off the planet the weekend that film opens.

I'm a huge Spidey fan and unless that film is much different than the trailer I'm really worried.

Crossing my fingers for a surprise though.

I could be the only here, but I'm really looking forward to Resident Evil. Panic should be a good show but shouldn't we have a teaser for it yet? Also, one that is not been pushed to much yet is Below. Written by the director of Requiem for a Dream and directed by the man that did Pitch Black. Should be an awesome flick! Teaser should be out for this soon I think.
