    Not that I would ever use this, but you Download a movie to to your Hard Drive and watch it. What format are they using for this WM9? And do they get control of your Hardware because they say te eventually delete this file? I guess this is the beginning of VOD.

    VOD has been here for years already on cable systems

    They don't delete it for you, every time you try to watch it it checks with the central server to see if you're allowed to watch it. It's possible the program purges old stuff after 30 days or whatnot

    I imagine in their wisdom, the studios offer you Pan & Scan versions of Widescreen films through this thing?
