A local HT friend of mine has expressed interest in designing a mobile outdoor theater for his swimming pool. He mentioned floating the screen, but I think it will be more effective mounted on the side of the pool. The end result would be about a 15' wide screen where viewers could float in the pool and watch movies.

This got me thinking what kinds of movies would be fun to play in a "Dive-In" theater. I've listed the films that immeadiately came to mind below, but I'd love to get more suggestions!

Thanks!

During the 2002 Monster Bash convention in Butler, P.A., which is a blast if your a classic monster fan (shameless plug), they showed The Creature from the Black Lagoon at the indoor swimming pool. Officiated by the creature himself, Ben Chapman. Needless to say it was a blast!

Piranha was the first thing that popped into my mind, but I haven't seen that one in over a decade when my mom watched it on (I assume) a Saturday afternoon along with all the other movies they used to show. I'm not sure if it's on DVD, but I thik Aligator has a scene where a kid at a birthday party jumps into a pool, where the aligator was lurking
or something like that.
