This is my first post on these boards, but I think this is the most likely place to find an answer to this question. My roommate's Political Science professor threw out a movie quote in class the other day, and he's offered extra points (or something) for finding the movie that the quote is from. The quote went something like this:

"It takes money to fight a revolution, you know."

Its not much to work with, I realize. I know the answer is out there somewhere... hopefully one of you has it.

    Thanks,
    -John

Cocktail, the world's first yuppie poet, towards the end of his poem.

    ?

Checked my disc. Cocktail's line is "Revolution? It takes money to overthrow the government you know."

I know this one, but I can't quite place it.

One guess might be The Tailor of Panama starring Pierce Brosnan and Geoffrey Rush.

Is Cocktail right or is that also a guess?

My first thought was Tailor of Panama.

thanks guys... can any of you confirm the line from tailor of panama? (i've never seen it or heard of it actually)

the cocktail line is very similar, though... i wonder if my roommate or his professor may have misquoted?

Cocktail immediately came to mind and that's an easy way to misquote it.
