What is best and cheapest place to buy movie posters? Although the best and cheapest usually never go hand in hand. At the moment i am interested in getting posters of classic films.

Are you interested in acquiring original posters or re-prints? I have quite a few links that I could provide if you're looking for originals.

I have used www.pixposters.com (they actually got me the Goldmember teaser poster after it was recalled [IMG] ) and www.movieposters.com
Both these guys carry original and reprint posters (I find that pixposters carries more original posters though)

I have a huge selection of original movie posters from recent films. I would be willing to make a trade for some DVDs...otherwise, offers are accepted...

Let me know, and I'll suggest some DVDs I've had on my wish list.

All posters are rolled. I have the following:

    "Bless the Child"
"Woman On Top" (also have an Advance 1 Sheet)
"Into the Arms of a Stranger"
    "What Lies Beneath"
"Titan A.E." (also have an Advance 1 Sheet)
    "The Little Vampire"
"Things You Can Tell Just By Looking At Her"
    "Best Laid Plans"
    "Among Giants"
    "Turn It Up"
    "The Contender"
"The Nutty Professor II: The Klumps"
    "Me Myself and Irene"
    "Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas"
    "The Skulls"
    "The Whole Nine Yards"
    "Down to You"
    "Thomas and the Magic Railroad"
"The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle"
    "Road Trip"
"Battlefield Earth" (also have an Advance 1 Sheet)
    "Where the Heart Is"
    "The Next Best Thing"
    "Hanging Up"
    "Restaurant"
    "Lucky Numbers"
    "Autumn in New York"
    "Original Kings of Comedy"
    "The Ladies Man"
    "Replacements"
    "Men of Honor"
    "Art of War"
    "Bait"
    "Get Carter"
    "Club Land"
    "The Big Kahuna"
    "Bedazzled"
    "The Cell" (three different artworks)
"Space Cowboys" (also have an Advance 1 Sheet)
    "Dancer in the Dark"
    "For Love of the Game"
    "Little Nicky"

Many years ago, I used to order movie posters from Cinema City, and they were excellent. Their catalog is very large, but they show only a small subset on their website.

MoviePoster.com has a great selection of posters. Lucky for me, they are located right here in Toronto so I know they have good stuff.

Are most movie posters at 27" x 40"? I'd prefer to have them at 24" x 36" since it's easier (and more affordable) to find frames at that size.

    Yes, most regular-sized (i.e., "one-sheet") movie posters are 27x40" or 27x41".

You want to get an original one sheet and double sided AOTC poster. Its much better quality than a reprint. The star wars fan club has what may be original one-sided posters for $9.99. swfan.wizards.com. You can call them to confirm.
