Do you guys have any suggestions on why my mouse suddenly stopped working?

My guess would be the new drivers. Have you tried uninstalling them and re-installing the old ones?

What OS? If you use XP, you can try rollback.

Well, the mouse was dead. I just got a new mouse from Dell, and everything works great. Why the mouse died is still a mystery.
