Just mounted my new 46" Panny on the stand and will be wall mounting
in about 2 weeks when my new HD DirecTV box gets sent.

I'm looking for recommendations on an affordable mount (under $125) that allows easy tilt but is still somewhat inconspicuous. It will be
mounted about 6 feet up (to center) and I'd like enough room to adjust cables as needed.

Omnimount and Sanus seem to be ubiquitous brands online with good reviews but I was hoping someone with similar tv could recommend a sturdy mount that allows fairly easy tilt (only forward tilt needed - not lateral/swivel) and access to the inputs (the permanent ones will be through the wall but extras may be needed for gaming/laptop etc)

Thanks all!

Monoprice has dozens of wall mounting options. I've always had good luck with them in the past for cables but I had an issue this week with an HDMI switch I had bought. I sent an e-mail asking about their return policy on a part that was almost a year old. I received an e-mail reply a couple of hours later from the GM of Monoprice and it included a tracking number of my replacement part as well as a pre-paid UPS sticker to send the defective part back. I have NEVER seen customer service that good.

The ideal height of a tv is for the center of the screen, to be eye level, when you're sitting down. Some designer mounted one on the wall, on HGTV, and now everyone thinks that's where it needs to be. There is no practicality of it being up on the wall, especially over a fireplace. And especially if the fireplace is used. I guess I'm in the minority of this thinking though, because so many people do it. I think in a few years they'll be complaining of neck problems.......
Good luck!
