Moulin Rouge Pan&Scam (1 Viewer)

Has anyone checked out the VHS Moulin Rouge... I'm wondering if it's P&S, or widescreen/semi-widescreen like Pearl Harbour.

MR contains so many shots where the full width of the frame is used... many at the beginning of the film where you see the bohemians from left to right. If there was ever a film that would be completely ruined by P&S, this is it. If there is a P&S version, I can't believe that Baz Luhrmann would have sanctioned it, given the amount of care and attention that was put into the DVD.

I believe that both the rental & SE versions of the VHS are in P&S. If only for this movie, people should go out and buy a DVD player.

Hello all. I saw a clip of Moulin Rouge from VHS in Pan and Scam. GOODNESS it was awful. This is one film totally ruined by Pan and Scam. Good thing I have the DVD.
