How does motion picture film of 24fps transfer to PAL format of 25 fps? Is anything lost? Is the movie shorter? Is everything faster and are the voices higher pitch? Can someone school me on the motion picture transfer of film to PAL standards.

Thanks in advance

I think there is a 4% speed up, quite a few people on here seem to have a problem with this, but I have never noticed any difference. So because of this the films are shorter and the sound is higher pitched, but on PAL you are supposed to get a better picture with more lines of resolution, again something I have never noticed.
