So what are your Most Anticipated Theatrical Releases for 2004?

My Top 12 (in no order)

    Kill Bill Vol 2 (Tarantino)
The second installment should be as good as the first.

    The Village (Shyamalan)
M Night & another suspense/horror story should = a good time at the movies.

    The Brothers Grimm (Gilliam)
Should be interesting with Gilliam at the helm.

    Mad Max: Fury Road (Miller)
I'm not big on sequels though I loved Mad Max 2. Wasn't crazy about Thunderdome but I'm still very interested in this one with Miller & Gibson on board.

    Alexander (Stone)
One of my soft spots I have are for well made Historical Epics. Stone hasn't impressed me over the last decade but we'll see I guess.

    Troy (Peterson)
See Alexander, though the traditional story of Troy has certain Fantasy elements to it.

    Collateral (Mann)
Michael Mann + Crime Thriller = must see

    The Aviator (Scorsese)
I'm always interested in the next Scorsese film.

    I, Robot (Proyas)
On the + side Proyas tackles a Classic Sci-Fi tale. What I'm dreading is that this will be just another Will Smith vehicle. [IMG]

    Steamboy (Otomo)
    From the creator of Akira

    Howl's Moving Castle (Miyazaki)
See the Aviator & replace Scorsese with Miyazaki.

    The Incredibles (Bird)
Sounds a little like Pixar tackles the Fantastic Four. Interesting.

I'm probably unaware of many more projects so I'm interested in what others have on their lists.

    The Passion

    Spiderman 2

    Van Helsing

    I, Robot

    The Incredibles

There are others, and several that I am anticapating, but am afraid that there going to be bad (Catwoman).

    thanks Rocky,

re: The Passion - Interested though I'll wait for the reviews to come in first. This could be very good or very tedious.

re: Spider-Man 2 Another of my soft spots so yes I'm interested, especially with Doc Ock as the villain.

re: Van Helsing - liked The Mummy in a turn-your-brain-off kind of way but I just don't know about this one. I'm growing a bit tired of CGI, Horror storys turned Action films Hollywood keeps churning out.

Kill Bill Vol 2 - Loved the first half, hopefully I enjoy this just as much.
The Ladykillers - I always anticipate new Coen's
    The Passion of the Christ
The Incredibles - C'mon its new Pixar.
I, Robot - I like all of Proyas' previous films despite the fact that Will Smith is part of this project.
    Dirty Dancing 2: Havana Nights
Troy - While overplayed, that teaser caught my interest.
Shrek 2 - Hey, I dug the first one and the teaser is pretty funny.

I'm sure we will see some solid independent features pop up but i'm not aware of many yet.
