Morel Acoustics.....An Affordable Dynaudio? (1 Viewer)

The model I'm interested in goes for $490 a pair and has a frequency response rated + or - 3 db down to 40 hz.

Morel licenses driver technology from Dynaudio, so it's no surprise they look very similiar. How close they sound like Dynaudios I do not know.

Is there anyone out there that's heard a morel speaker? I've had a hard time finding testimonials for them, although their outstanding performance in car audio is more well known and better documented.

hi,
i too, picked the morel's in my car over the dyn's.
i have been extremely happy with them. they reproduce
sound with a very warm, accurate sound. i am pumping
a lot of wattage into them though. 200/door.
don't get me wrong though, they dyn's sound better. you
can tell the difference between the two. however, for
me at the time, price v performance, i thought the morel's were a better deal.
i have found that they are particually good at reproducing
vocals. sarah mc laclan surfacing sounds fantastic.
