Dang, not even noon PDT and 670 people on board and SLOOOOWWW loading in the forums....
I am checking this out. Parker
Has been particularly bad M-F, 11-1:00 PM CST. If that helps.
fwiw, i'm also experiencing this. mostly around 10am-1pm PST. seems to have been happening the past 2-3 days.
and surpassing yesterday's record traffic is:
"Most users online: 711 on Today at 10:12 AM."
where will it end?
And again 7/31 Most users online: 746 on Today at 12:16 PM.
Anything to report Packy?
Has the board been slow loading today? Or has it improved any? Parker
Matthew: Did it improve any after that? Parker
It's been slow all week I believe, at about the same timeframe: approx. 12:00-2:30 PM CST, seemingly corresponding with the record breaking number of users. When I got on just now there were about 490 users and it is blazing along just fine.
Well, Since some of the changes wheren't made until later today it will be interesting to see how it is running tomorrow. Parker
Well, Those times are when we are getting hit the hardest. We are still working on some tweaks to the database. Parker
It's hauling ass right about now.
It's 5.30pm over here in ye olde London town and the forum is at normal speed, not ramming speed, but is ok, but (ominous music starts up) I have noticed recently after 6.00pm GMT the forum slooooows down more than a tad, which means when I click on a thread, especially Ron's review threads I can make a cup of coffee, go to the loo and the page will still be loading, but (music lightens up) luckily for me I usually do most of my HTF browsing afer midnight so the forum is moving along well by than, woohoo.
HAS THIS POST HELPED YOU? YES/NO
12:45 CDT: Load times for each thread are averaging 45-60 seconds.
