more reciever help

    I am wanting a good reciever for 5.1 surround, I dont have the room for a 7 0r 6.1 but I would like a reciever that will do every thing else needed . is there a reciever that will have all the bells and whistles(dd.dts.ex.ect.) with out having to pay for the extra chanels . 90% movies. thanks for your help

    Those are my sentiments as well. I went with the Denon 2802. It's a very nice receiver and can be had for less than $700. Rated at 90w per channel with less than 0.05% THD.
    It supports, dd 5.1, 6.1, 7.1, and DTS.

    I have been researching and this is what I came up with, for a 5.1 surround the only things needed are dd.dts.and pro logic 2 is this correct or is there something else I am missing?
