First premiering on ABC as a network television special in February of 1972, the talented Rankin & Bass production team created this masterpiece in live action, cell animation and "animagic," the trademark stop-motion technique. Andersen's 1837 tale is brought to life by master storyteller Danny Kaye, playing the clever Marmaduke.

:frowning: Last year - August, I can tell you precisely - I sent an e-mail to FHE asking about Last Unicorn. No reply was ever given!
Yes, I prefer TLU, as does the missus. I merely thought of Wizards first because a co-worker had mentioned that one just about an hour prior!
