Boy, the catalogue titles just keep comin' and comin'!

Looks like we're getting three films from John Sayles: Lianna, The Return of the Secaucus 7 and The Brother from Another Planet. Look for 'em on September 16th.

Still no word on Men With Guns even though it was listed on the insert that came with Sunshine State. :frowning:

I'm still waiting for a 2.35:1 WS version of City of Hope, one of my favorite films (the supposedly "widescreen" laserdisc is actually pan-and-scan and an awful transfer at that)

And before people get their panties in a bunch, I'm pretty sure the full-frame Return of The Secaucus Seven is supposed to be that way-- it was filmed in 16mm.

I'll second that. I recently put Matewan down in the thread about movies you never expect to see on DVD. I think it's a great film.

Excellent news. I've wanted to see Secaucus 7 for a very long time and the current Brother disc is very weak. But I'll echo the "where's City Of Hope and Baby It's You" comments.
