Since Fox is releasing a Carmen Miranda box set with some movies we would never expect on dvd (and this is a wonderful surprise), I think we have a cance to see more of our favorite Fox musicals on dvd. So, what are the ones you would choose?

In would be very glad to see a second volume for the Alice Faye collection (and I thin Fox will release it)
My selection would be:
Hello Frisco Hello
Tin Pan Alley
The Great American Broadcast
Rose of Washington Square
Sing Baby Sing

And, of course, a second Grable box set (this time the selection is more difficult):
Song of the Islands
Springtime in the Rockies
Mother Wore Tights
Coney Island
When My Baby Smiles at Me.

and a third one with:
Footlight Serenade
Sweet Rosie O' Grady
Billy Rose's Diamond Horseshoe
Meet me After the Show
That Lady in Ermine/The Shocking Miss Pilgrim

A Sonja Henie box set

And, of course, for solo releases there are:
Margie
Three Little Girls in Blue
Centennial Summer
I'll get by
Swanee River
Oh you beautiful doll
You were meant for me
Give my regards to Broadway
Irish Eyes are similing (don't know if they could afford a June Haver )
The Best things in Life are free
Sweet and Low-Down
Do you love me
You're my everything
Nob Hill

How about your choices? Maybe Fox is reading this thread

Where Do We Go From Here?, The "I Don't Care" Girl, I Wonder Who's Kissing Her Now, Golden Girl, Folies Bergere, Call Me Mister, Four Jills in A Jeep, At Long Last Love (I think that Bogdanovich did a commentary and a director's cut a couple of years ago).

Is there a Cinemascope version of THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE ARE FREE available on home video? (Was it released on laserdisc in widescreen?)

Every time the Fox Movie Channel shows this, it's in a low-quality pan and scan transfer that is unwatchable.

I'm also more than ready for APRIL LOVE.

THE BEST THINGS IN LIFE never made it to ld and I am beginning to wonder if only the tv master still exists. Ditto HOW TO BE VERY, VERY POPULAR which Fox showed pan and scanned last week. But then BLACK WIDOW is arriving on Tuesday lbxed so anything is possible.

Another vote for "Where Do We Go From Here?" and a request for a Pat Boone Box featuring "April Love", "Bernadine", "All Hands on Deck" and "Mardi Gras"

I second more Alice Faye! I'm dying to see Hello Frisco Hello!

I also want more Betty Grable! Fox could still do another 4th set with the following:

Wabash Avenue
Beautiful Blonde from Bashful Bend
Call Me Mister
The Farmer Takes a Wife
How to Be Very, Very Popular

It's not a musical officially but we need to get HOLLYWOOD CAVALCADE with cameos by Mack Sennett, Rin Tin Tin, Buster Keaton and Jolson out on dvd. Maybe double-billed with YOU'RE MY EVERYTHING?
