Just curious, does anyone know anything else about this amp that is not listed on the Adire site?

Like its peak power or the amps dampning factor. If anyone actually knows.

The AVA250 is the same basic amp as the Parts Express 300-794, and MCM caries the same unit as well. Parts Express probably has the most detailed specs, but Adire has pretty good information as well. I own an Adire Rava which has a AVA250 in it, and am building a new sub with a PE 12" DVC woofer and a 300-794, and can report that the two units appear identical. Since the output of the sub connects directly to the voicecoil of the woofer, without any crossover coils in the way, the control of the driver is much tighter than most "normal" speakers can achieve, making damping factor comparisons questionable.

I believe that PE rates the 300-794 at 272 watts into 4 ohms, which is about 24 dBW. With a woofer with 87 dBA sensitivity, that's about 111 dBA peaks above rolloff.
