Can someone give me a few clues as to how to get more base out of my speakers? I have gone through the receiver settings I have set my base up as high as possible. I have a bose system, subwoofer and 5 satellites. Not sure if I need to put the receiver on a different setting or not. I know this is not a ton of info, but this is all I know.

Thank you,

The Bose bass modules do not go anywhere near as deep as even the cheapest subwoofers so there is not much that can be done using your current system unless you can add a sub.

I am sure someone with a better knowledge of the Bose systems will chime in and let you know if there is a way to add a sub.

Assuming you do not want to get a new speaker system...it is rather easy to add a sup to your system. There are several ways of doing this...assuming that you have an actual reciever and not some priority bose thingy...

On your receiver, set the Subwoofer setting to "Yes" - and the speaker size all to "small" - then hook up your external sub via RCA cable from your receiver - it will now handle the bass - with the receiver sending the lower end to the new sub...

If your receiver does not have a sub out - set all of the speakers to large, then send the speaker wires from the receiver to the new sub, set the frquency on the sub to around 100 Htz, and then run the cables out of the sub into the base module...if the sub has 5 sets of passthrough speaker ins/outs, you are set.

If the sub only has 2 pass throughs, run the front L/R wires through the sub, and set those speakers to Large on the receiver, the rest to small...

Bose usually hooks up all speakers to the base module, and the satellites come out of the base module...you need to let the sub have at the signal before it enters into bose world...
