I think there was a previous thread about this, but in case not then I'll point out that there's more info about this here.

Hmmm... the complete series?? 66 episodes. That's gonna be one big box!! Probably 8-10 discs even if they go double-sided; 17 if they don't.

    Hope they use thin-paks!!

Bruce Willis was mistaken about "the complete series"; it's a season at a time. We alluded to that here, in our update at the bottom, after questioning Disney about that.

Is there any news about Moonlighting? I'm hoping that there will be an announcement soon. Is this still on the way?

I hope it's still coming. This is one series though where I would not buy all seasons since there's no point in owning the last two unless you're a glutton for punishment.

Yeah, the show went downhill once David and Maddie got together. I still remember the print ad for that episode; it had a great tag line: "No more between the lines. Tonight's between the sheets."

    Yow.

tvshowsondvd.com just shared the heartbreaking 'not in November' news (I think we'd all been worried/suspicious that there hadn't been anything new lately...).

Hopefully, it's just a 'Fall's too crowded' kinda thing. Don't want this cancelled, it's HIGH amongst my most desired...

And I do want it all. I know the last seasons really blow it, but there are a few I've never seen, and I'd rather have them on disc than watch old vhs tapes... Even at its worst, it was better than most tv...

To quote Dax, "Even at its worst, it was better than most tv..."

and Moonlighting still is better than most stuff on TV today!

For those who love this show, you will want to check out an online fan publication called "Moonlighting Strangers" on Moonlighting21.com. Lots of behind the scenes information via recent cast and crew interviews. The one with Cybill in the latest issue is a must read.

So, have we heard any word on this? This was my favorite 80s show and this is one I would buy even though I have them on good quality tapes.

I have a desire to watch Moonlighting tonight. It's a shame that I have to pull out the VHS tapes. I hope that this is coming to DVD soon!

Just read the news update on tvshowsondvd.com about Moonlighting possibly being released in the second quarter 2005. However, there is no mention of Buena Vista anymore, instead they're talking about Lions Gate!

    Lions Gate?? Lions Gate????

Two words that make me tremble with fear! (Yes, I own the ALF Season 1 set)

Christian, from what I've heard Lions Gate is paying to have the episodes cleaned up (restored, not altered), and they're including extras on the set as well.

I know David Naylor (Buffy, Angel, Felicity, Alias, Simpsons, Boomtown, X-Files, James Bond 007, Lost) is working on the set and I haven't seen him work on any set that turned out to be crap. I'm putting my faith in him [IMG]

Now I wonder how the show will be affected by music licensing...
