Circuit City carries MC and Best Buy OMC. Neither salesperson knew what the differences were between the two.

They know what their sales manager tells them and that is generally which one generates the most profit and commissions. Head on over to partsexpress.com and buy yourself a spool of some sound king 12 gauge OFC. You'll save yourself a bundle of cash. I believe Lowes also carries something similar.

You are referring to on the barcode, right? I asked that question to a rep from Monster a year and a half ago. His response was that it was for Monster's internal bookkeeping. The cable stock are all identical, except for Video 1,2,3 and of course InterLink Jr., 100's, 200's, 300's, 400's, and Reference.

    C'mon guys.

OMC is Original Monster Cable. It was replaced by Monster Cable which has "more time-winding." OMC is Old Monster Cable.
